Step 1 — Clean the bumper surface
Use an alcohol based cleaner to thoroughly clean the area on your front bumper where the magnetic pad will sit. Remove any wax, polish, grease, or road film. This is the most important step — the 3M adhesive bonds to the plastic, not to contamination. Allow the surface to dry for about 60 seconds.
Step 2 — Position and apply the magnetic pad
Peel the backing from the adhesive magnetic pad. Centre it on the lower section of your front bumper, keeping it flat and level. Press firmly across the full surface for 30 seconds.
